Delrin Color Coded Flangeless Fingertight Nuts

VICI Jour takes the flange out of plastic tube nuts. Merely slip the nut and ferrule on to Teflon or Tefzel tubing and finger-tighten into any standard 1/4"-28 threaded flat bottom fitting detail. Six different colors allow you to color code your solvent streams e.g. in a gradient system.
 
Here is the system which provides a zero dead-volume, leak-free seal without flanging. For higher pressures use the Tefzel tubing.

The ferrule is made of Tefzel - a highly inert fluorocarbon polymer - and is the only part, besides the tubing, which is in contact with the fluid - the nut is never in contact with the fluid stream.

We do not recommend Delrin nuts to be used with acids or bases.
